About the Position

The HR Business Partner (HRBP) will serve as a strategic advisor to business leaders, supporting bothpeople excellenceandenterprise transformation. In addition to delivering core HR partnership responsibilities, this role plays a critical role in enabling Lenovo's journey toward anAI-native organization, with a strong focus on supportingAI adoption, workforce transformation, and enterprise knowledge management (EKM).

This HRBP will partner closely with Digital Transformation, AI, IT, and business leaders to translate emerging technologies into scalable people, talent, and operating-model solutions. This position has a hybrid schedule onsite 3 days per week at our Morrisville, NC office.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic HR Business Partnership

  • Act as a trusted HR advisor to senior leaders, aligning people strategy with business priorities
  • Drive organizational design, workforce planning, talent strategy, and succession planning
  • Support change management initiatives for complex, multi-stakeholder transformations
  • Partner with leaders on performance management, engagement, culture, and leadership effectiveness
  • Ensure consistent application of HR policies, programs, and governance

AI & Digital Transformation Enablement

  • Enable the business transition toward anAI-native operating model, translating AI strategy into workforce and capability implications
  • Partner with AI, Digital Transformation to supportAI adoption across roles, processes, and decision-making
  • Support the design of new roles, skills, and job architectures required for AI-enabled work
  • Drive upskilling, reskilling, and learning strategies related to AI literacy, applied AI, and digital capabilities

Enterprise Knowledge Management (EKM) Transformation

  • Championknowledge as a strategic asset, partnering with business and functional leaders to embed EKM into how work gets done
  • Support the design and adoption of enterprise knowledge frameworks, governance, and operating models
  • Enable integration of knowledge management with AI solutions to improve productivity, decision quality, and scalability
  • Help leaders and teams shift behaviors toward knowledge sharing, reuse, and continuous learning

Culture, Change & Capability Building

  • Reinforce a culture of innovation, collaboration, and learning aligned with Lenovo's transformation agenda
  • Lead change and adoption efforts for new ways of working, including AI-enabled workflows and digital tools
  • Partner with HR COEs (TA, L&D, C&B, People Analytics) to deliver integrated, future-ready HR solutions

Basic Qualifications

  • 8yrs of progressive experience as a Human Resources partner
  • 2+ years of Experience with Digital Transformation, IT, IT Operations, or Engineering/Product organization support as a Human Resources partner
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Organizational Change or relevant field

Preferred Qualifications

  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience including work in a global business unit
  • Proven experience supporting large-scale transformations (digital, AI, operating model, or business transformation)
  • Strong change management, stakeholder management, and executive influencing skills
  • Familiarity and comfort with presentations across multiple organizational levels
  • Experience with PM tools: MS Project, Office, PowerPoint, Power BI
  • Solution-oriented (data driven) approach to problem solving
  • Ability to operate in ambiguity and translate strategy into pragmatic execution
  • Ability to coordinate across multiple time zones to communicate needs effectively
  • Cultural Competency working across Chinese, American, European, Desi and South American cultural contexts, ensuring messages are communicated with clarity and tact
  • Solid understanding of AI, digital transformation, and/or knowledge management concepts (hands-on experience a plus)
