Summary:

Goldbelt, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Project Coordinator to support the execution of high-visibility campaigns and initiatives across shareholder services, executive communications, Alaska operations, and business storytelling. The Project Coordinator will play a key role in project coordination, intake management, editorial and administrative support, vendor and campaign management, and project tracking. This role will work within the Marketing & Communications team, ensuring campaigns are organized across multiple specialists and delivered on time.


Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

  • Maintain and manage workback schedules across multiple campaigns, including the Annual Report, Board elections, Alaska Operations initiatives (e.g., Tram 30th, Transportation, port communications), and shareholder services projects.
  • Oversee project intake processes and Help Desk workflow system to ensure requests are managed efficiently and bottlenecks are avoided
  • Provide editorial and administrative support, including light proofreading and copyediting, scheduling, and organizing collateral for internal and external campaigns
  • Coordinate with internal teams, external vendors, and contractors to support logistics and deliverables for Goldbelt subsidiaries and shareholder-facing initiatives
  • Assist with the execution of website and brand refresh efforts, ensuring consistency across digital and print platforms
  • Support data-driven initiatives, including surveys, dashboards, and reporting that inform strategic decision-making
  • Assist in campaign management and vendor oversight, including scheduling, deliverable reviews, and status reporting
  • Serve as a communications liaison to help track, prioritize, and escalate project needs across departments

Qualifications

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines
  • Possesses attention to detail and effective problem-solving skills
  • Must have the ability to communicate effectively and diplomatically, both verbally and in writing, with co-workers and with outside agencies, partners, shareholders, and business associates
  • Strong cultural awareness and sensitivity, with the ability to adapt messages and strategies for diverse audiences
  • Basic understanding of relevant software, tools, and systems used in the corporate environment. This includes proficiency in standard software applications, including Windows and MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
  • Ability to learn and adapt to project management tools (e.g., Monday.com, Asana, Trello) and collaboration platforms quickly

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in project coordination, communications, or marketing support
  • Experience working in a deadline-driven environment with multiple stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • Project management certifications (e.g., CAPM, PMP) or equivalent training preferred.
  • Familiarity with branding, editorial workflows, and communications best practices a plus
  • Experience supporting communications, marketing, or shareholder engagement in a corporate or government contracting environment
  • Working knowledge of website content management systems and analytics dashboards
  • Previous experience working with Alaska Native Corporations (ANCs)
