This is a skilled position requiring proficient knowledge of distributed automation systems HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning), communication networking, computer software, and low voltage electrical distribution. The skills required for this position will allow the incumbent to resolve repair issues independently under general supervision. The position will support small, midsize, and large hospitals, critical access hospitals, small inpatient/outpatient facilities, and clinics. The Building Automation Systems Specialist provides the necessary skill to monitor, operate, maintain, and repair various controls systems. An understanding of programmable controllers, sensors, VFD's and other control-related devices is essential. Utilizes exceptional customer service and communication skills. This position ensures proper operation of distributed automation
systems controlled systems and provides internal technical support and training to Mercy caregivers. Position Details: Minimum Required Qualifications Education: High School, equivalent, or 1 year direct relevant experience Other Skills and Knowledge: * Requires oral and written communication skills to communicate with customers and follow instructions. Preferred Qualifications Education: High School Diploma, GED, and 1-year equivalent credits or certificate in a relevant program.
