JHCP is looking for a Medical Assistant (CMA) to provide high quality care to patients at our Surgeery Specialty practices. You will have the opportunity to provide care to every patient, at every touch point. The Medical Assistant administers medications and immunizations, obtains vital signs, maintains inventory of appropriate supplies, ensures safe and efficient patient flow, tracks high-risk referrals, lab tests, organizes practice environment to assure patient safety and quality outcomes, and contributes to HEDIS and designated quality measures.

Shift: Non-Exempt - Full-time 40 hours per week


Waht You'll Need to be Successful:



  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Certified Medical Assistant required successful completion of the AAMA, RMA/AMT, NCRMA (NAHP), NCMA(NCCT), RCMAS(NCMA), or CCMA(NHA). Medical Assistant Certification, exam within 3 months of hire. A valid CPR certification required upon hire and recertification required every two years.
  • Two years' experience in an ambulatory care setting is preferred.




Salary Range: Minimum /hour - Maximum /hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
