Partnering with Aquent, you'll be at the forefront of innovation-contributing to projects that set industry standards and leave a lasting impact on how people interact with technology.

About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled and visionary UX Designer to own outcomes for mature projects, complex programs, or emerging product areas within a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

In this pivotal role, you will define scalable and sustainable approaches to solving difficult problems, develop and evangelize long-term UX and product strategies, and guide multiple adjacent design efforts. You'll challenge existing thinking, provoke greater divergence of thought, and ensure solutions are innovative, forward-looking, and grounded in user needs.

You'll serve as a subject-matter expert, applying deep expertise in UX design principles, user-centered development methodologies, design systems, and research tools to deliver exceptional products and platforms.

What You'll Do

  • Collaborate closely with engineers to communicate, negotiate, and influence design intent, guiding the implementation of design specifications, mockups, and product models
  • Leverage and propose data and metrics to evaluate product impact, understand the broader ecosystem, identify user trends, and assess the competitive landscape
  • Drive continuous design improvements through UX testing, stakeholder feedback, and cross-functional collaboration
  • Build consensus and gain alignment around design strategies across teams and stakeholders, proactively addressing challenges
  • Contribute to project prioritization aligned with broader organizational goals and coordinate resources within your scope
  • Create innovative design solutions grounded in user insights, business needs, and industry trends to support key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Anticipate evolving design constraints and clearly articulate the rationale behind design decisions
  • Champion and scale holistic design processes, systems, or languages across teams or products
  • Guide other UX designers in ideation and research efforts, or independently conduct research to inform design direction
  • Apply, adapt, and define UX frameworks, principles, patterns, and systems
  • Use writing and design tools to visualize ideas, create mockups, and develop prototypes-tailoring deliverables to project needs and accessibility guidelines
  • Propose strategic UX improvements by analyzing and anticipating user needs and collaborating to overcome product, strategy, or technology constraints

Required Qualifications

  • Proficiency in data analysis, synthesis, and planning
  • Strong knowledge of product design principles
  • Expertise in interactive technologies
  • Solid understanding and application of UX research methodologies
  • Familiarity with the product development lifecycle
  • Demonstrated aesthetic sensibility and high craftsmanship in execution
  • Deep understanding of user behavior
  • Excellent presentation and storytelling skills
  • Systems-thinking approach to design
