Duties, Responsibilities & Other This opportunity is intended for new graduates, with the position starting late Spring and going until Fall. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Conduct invasive species control using both chemical and mechanical methods.
Qualifications Education and/or Skills Required: * 0-2 Years of experience * Bachelor's degree in Biology, Conservation, Ecology, Environmental Science, Wildlife and Fisheries Management, Forestry or equivalent. * Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. * Good communication and technical writing skills. * Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. * Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. * Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically. Education and/or Work Experience Preferred: * Previous internships or work experience in this industry. * Familiarity with GIS software *FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot certificate (sUAS) is a plus Certificates, Licenses, and/or Registrations Required: * Valid Driver's License * Ability to maintain required certifications * Current state (or surrounding reciprocal state) herbicide applicator license or ability to obtain license. | |||||||||||
