Job Description: Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Business Management Coordinator to join our Performance Management Team based in Mobile, AL. In this role you will Provide regular inputs to the Engineering and Finance teams to help improve performance toward operational and budget targets. Provide inputs for large-scope, multifaceted work tasks or projects using business and project management skills, concepts, and methods, as needed. Function as a resource within the Engineering and Business community to ensure coordination of Engineering goals. Analyze, recommend, and present business performance information to team members and leaders. Provide input to management on near-term and long-range business performance. Your Working Environment: The Engineering Center in Mobile, Alabama houses hundreds of Airbus engineers who assist in the design and development of Airbus commercial aircraft cabins, including aftermarket upgrades, reconfigurations and services of all product types across the globe. Your Challenges: Business Performance
Support and lead the end-to-end lifecycle of Purchase Orders (PO), including forecasting, actuals tracking, and travel budget reconciliation; identify risks and opportunities to ensure alignment with engineering offload goals. Conduct analyses and present data-driven recommendations to engineering leadership to support policy and operational controls. Provide specialized PO oversight and reporting governance to ensure organizational consistency and adherence to company policies, including Cost Allocation Timekeeping (CAT). Partner with Financial Controlling, Procurement, and Supplier Integration to develop standardized tools and review procedures that ensure documentation accuracy and streamlined business transactions
Strategic Activities
Act as a business advisor relative to Engineering offload activities, PO management, and other corporate business requirements Develops and maintains positive business relationships with related departments in Airbus Americas, such as Finance, Procurement, and Operations Coordinates requirements and policy changes across AA1 to ensure standardized planning and execution
Business Support
Manage requests and POs as needed Coordinates and implements common operational tools, regulatory requirements, and processes within AA1 Preparation of presentations, dossiers, documents, scorecards etc. for management and/or other relevant bodies. Ensure that information based on this data is understandable, updated, consistent, synthesized, available and archived.
Change Management
Collaborate with the leadership team to communicate change Identify gaps and recommend processes, training and development
Your Boarding Pass: Required:
Must be currently local to Mobile, AL metropolitan area Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Operational Management or a related field. 1+ years of experience in Engineering or Business Management 1+ years of experience in a Business Office or Business Management role Experience working in a Business or Aviation setting Strong analytical and reporting capabilities 10-15% domestic travel involved Authorized to Work in the US without current, or future, need of visa sponsorship Solving and communicating complex problems and solutions across cultures, departments, business units and programs Mastery in Data analytics / data modeling in operational KPIs, budgeting & performance metrics required Track and analyze issues, risks, and opportunities, and then proactively address or mitigate Demonstrated project management skills Advanced knowledge of change management principles and practices Ability to challenge and influence the business taking the human aspect of change into account Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholder expectations Proven ability to multi-task and quickly assess and adjust priorities Ability to influence key stakeholders, decision makers and colleagues as required to ensure project goals are met Ability to review and analyze statistical and other documentation in detail Ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate well with others Ability to manage multiple projects and manage effective use of own time Ability to operate in a global multicultural environment Ability to work independently Fluent written and spoken English. Several times a month Pushing / Pulling: able to push and pull small office furniture and some equipment and tools. Several times a month Sitting: able to sit for long periods of time in meetings, working on computer. Daily Squatting / Kneeling: able to squat or kneel to retrieve or replace items stored on low shelving. Several times a month Standing: able to stand for discussions in offices or on production floor. Daily Travel: able to travel independently and at short notice.
