Transportation Ambassador - Where Movement Meets Excellence

On-site: McLean, VA

Be the driving force behind seamless mobility! As our Transportation Ambassador, you'll serve as the key liaison connecting associates, clients, vendors, and office amenities while specializing in transportation coordination and logistics. This elevated, expanded role puts you at the center of keeping our community moving-from managing complex transportation schedules to ensuring flawless guest services. You'll transform daily commutes into effortless experiences that power our thriving workplace community!

Here is some of your day:

  • Transportation Operations: Manage 95 Express coverage including rider check-in, pre-boarding vehicle inspections, and charter bus coordination for inter-location and offsite event travel
  • Communication Hub: Monitor and respond to inquiries across Transportation, Parking, and regional Guest Service mailboxes while maintaining professional standards with all stakeholders
  • Database & Process Management: Administer Parking Services databases, assist with enterprise-wide parking processes, and provide operational oversight for satellite locations
  • Campus Tours & Hospitality: Lead the Campus Tour program from initial inquiry through customized itinerary development and tour execution, while greeting and supporting all guests, visitors, and employees
  • Amenity Services: Support various amenity programs including umbrella inventory, bike programs, signage management, luggage storage, lost & found, and temporary badge issuance
  • Facility Coordination: Resolve building service issues across janitorial, mailrooms, copier services, and conference rooms by submitting work orders and coordinating maintenance activities
  • Visitor Management: Import external guests into the Visitor Management system for campus events while maintaining organized lobby and front desk areas
  • Proactive Problem-Solving: Anticipate client needs, identify potential operational risks, escalate concerns appropriately, and collaborate effectively within facility management and transportation teams

Our successful candidate will have the following:

Required

  • Schedule Flexibility: Ability to work varied shifts including early 6 AM starts for Transportation team coverage and adjusted hours based on business demands, with early release time offsetting longer shifts
  • Independent Excellence: Work autonomously with minimal supervision while maintaining professional demeanor and demonstrating initiative, integrity, and sound judgment in all interactions
  • Communication & Organization: Excellent written and verbal communication skills combined with strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and self-motivation to drive results
  • Technical & Hospitality Skills: Advanced Google Suite proficiency paired with genuine passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional customer experiences
  • Multi-Priority Management: Proven ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in fast-paced environments while maintaining strong collaborative and interpersonal relationships

Pay $27.00-27.50/Hourly

This position does not provide visa sponsorship. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
