What this job involves: This position supports the daily operation and setup of meeting and event spaces by managing audio-visual equipment, coordinating room configurations, and ensuring optimal guest experiences. You'll work as part of a collaborative team to maintain smooth event operations while providing technical support for both in-person and virtual meetings. Your day-to-day tasks will include: * Organizing daily floor activities to ensure timely setup, refresh, and removal of equipment for meetings and events * Configuring meeting and training rooms by arranging tables, chairs, and furniture according to specific event designs * Delivering additional meeting equipment such as easels, flip charts, tables, and chairs to various locations * Operating different types of audio-visual equipment for both live and virtual events * Meeting with guests on-site to ensure their needs are met and equipment setup is functioning properly * Attending venue meetings for event planning and coordination purposes * Setting up, tearing down, and occasionally loading and unloading equipment for events * Performing preventative maintenance on equipment to keep it presentable and in good working condition * Participating in physical inventory count processes and ensuring proper security, storage, and transportation of equipment Desired experience and technical skills: Requirements: * Experience with audio-visual equipment operation and setup * Ability to lift and move furniture and equipment safely * Strong organizational and time management skills * Excellent communication and customer service abilities * Flexibility to work some evenings and weekends as required * Physical ability to perform setup, teardown, and equipment transportation tasks Preferred: * Previous experience in event setup or hospitality industry * Familiarity with various meeting room technologies and configurations * Experience with inventory management systems * Knowledge of preventative maintenance procedures for AV equipment Salary: $51,100 - $65,200 / year The salary listed is an estimate and not guaranteed. A salary offer will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data This position does not provide visa sponsorship.
