TITLE: SALES SUPPORT REPRESENTATIVE

LOCATION: ASHBURN, VA Preferred


POSITION SUMMMARY : The Sales Support Representative will support the objectives of the Sales Team. The Sales Team sells services that are focused on providing integrated solutions for colocation, enterprise, hyperscale, and government customers. This role will assist in document preparation, proposal management, scope review, and communication with customers and internal stakeholders on deal specific items.

  • Quote/Proposal Preparation - full life cycle quote management when necessary
  • Beginning-to-End opportunity creation and management.
  • Follow up on parts deliveries i.e. batteries, caps and other parts from OEM vendors, trade subcontractors and partners.
  • Coordinate with CPG Operations and Service Teams on scheduling & shipments.
  • Accurately process customer Purchase Orders into NetSuite Sales Orders.
  • Submit Purchase Order requests to Accounting.
  • Coordinate with Vendors to release orders and follow up on ship dates.
  • Inventory/Logistics Management - track purchased products and communicate with customer regarding their order status
  • Ensure accurate and up to date information is entered into NetSuite.
  • Attend kick off meetings to assist in smooth handoff of project from bid to execution if necessary.
  • Utilize NetSuite to track all open and closed opportunities.
  • Deliver reporting for assigned Sales Representatives and assist in funnel maintenance.
  • Complete ISXs and Submittals for 3rd party vendors.
  • Complete training courses assigned by Supervisor.



QUALIFICATIONS : The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.


Education/Experience (Desired):


  • Bachelor 's Degree
  • 1-2 years in a customer service/sales/relationship management role
  • Previous data center experience a plus
  • Previous experience with Oracle NetSuite a plus
  • US citizen required



Computer Skills:


  • Microsoft office proficiency - Excel, Word, Power Point

Pay Range: $56,602 - $84,903 per year
