Asphalt Milling Supervisor- MS0226

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily milling operations and maintain daily timesheets for all personnel
  • Develop and teach a team of milling operators to perform all aspects of both operations and maintenance of the milling machine
  • Coordinate with Asphalt Area Manager, Field Managers and Project managers for scheduling of milling operations
  • Monitor and maintain production goals for milling projects
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure optimal performance, coordinate and perform preventive maintenance on machines and be able to troubleshoot as necessary
  • Develop and implement training programs that follows best practices and enhances team capabilities



Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • 5+ years with milling operations
  • Strong leadership, supervision and communication skills with ability to teach
  • Knowledge of all operations of milling machines both top and bottom
  • Knowledge of equipment maintenance and repair
  • Ability to read plans and understand grade elevations
  • Valid Drivers License
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Soft skills with computer to be able to keep up with time and production logs
