About the Opportunity

DMI, LLC is seeking a Front-end Developer, specializing in Vue.js and GraphQL, to play a crucial role in the development of our web-based applications. This role will be a hybrid position based out of our Cincinnati location. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in front-end development, with a strong focus on Vue.js, and the ability to integrate GraphQL APIs effectively. As a Front-end Developer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement responsive, user-friendly interfaces.

Duties and Responsibilities:

    Develop and maintain web applications using Vue.js, GraphQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers and product managers to create visually appealing interfaces.
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code, adhering to best practices.
  • Optimize front-end components for performance across various devices and browsers.
  • Integrate GraphQL or REST APIs for effective data management and usability.
  • Conduct code reviews, and promote best coding practices.
  • Participate in Agile development processes and stay updated with front-end development trends. * Troubleshoot and resolve issues in collaboration with the team.


Qualifications

Education and Years of Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, related field, OR proven experience as a Front-End Developer.
  • 2+ years of experience with Vue.js

Required and Desired Skills/Certifications:

  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, along with a strong understanding of Agile methodologies.
  • Experience in integrating RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Familiarity with AWS and version control systems like Git and GitHub.

Nice To Haves:

  • Knowledge of Ruby on Rails.
  • Experience in Reporting Applications, Telecom Expense Management, or related industry or device/inventory management.
  • Experience in a similar industry or with similar web-based application development.
  • Familiarity with automated testing platforms and continuous integration tools.

Min Citizenship Status Required: Must be a U.S. Citizen

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer.
  • Ability to use a keyboard, mouse, and monitor for extended periods.
  • Visual acuity to perform activities such as reading technical documents, coding, and reviewing designs on screens.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members through digital collaboration tools (e.g., video calls, emails, chat platforms).
  • May occasionally be required to lift and carry lightweight materials (up to 10 lbs) like laptops, manuals, or documents.
  • The ability to travel and work from the office in a full time capacity.

Location: Cincinnati, OH - this is a hybrid position with an expectation of 3 days/week in office
