Add to Favorite Jobs Email this Job Department: IPR - Inst for Policy Res This position will be a Research Study Assistant on an NIH-funded study of housing instability and cardiovascular health in the Foundations of Health Research Center. The Research Study Assistant will work closely with the Research Project Coordinator to execute study assessments and work toward project goals. The Research Study Assistant's major responsibilities will include assisting with study recruitment, screening, and scheduling; conducting in-lab study assessments, including psychosocial interviews and health assessments; assisting with processing of biological samples collected during study procedures, such as immunoassays and cell cultures; oversight of data entry and monitoring of participant data; conducting phone calls with study participants; oversight of data entry and monitoring of participant data; and completing administrative tasks as needed. Performs biomedical &/or social-behavioral research by administering tests &/or questionnaires following protocols; collecting, compiling, tabulating &/or processing responses; gathering information; &/or assisting in the preparation of material for inclusion in reports. Completes all activities by strictly following Good Clinical Practices (GCP) & all relevant current local, state, & federal laws, regulations, guidance, policy & procedure developed by the NU Institutional Review Board (IRB), Food & Drug Administration (FDA) Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), & the International Conference on Harmonization (ICH). Please note: Supervisor provides objectives, detailed deadlines and general instructions. Work is reviewed for technical accuracy and compliance with instructions, practice, policy and procedures. Preferred Qualifications:
Target hiring range for this position will be $18.50 to $20.00 per hour. Offered salary will be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
