Technical Support Specialist (TSS Level II) Summary: This non-supervisory position conducts advanced CBRN detection operations supporting federal mission partners and serves as a senior operational resource within the Department of Homeland Security's Mobile Detection Deployment Program teams. This position is responsible for coordinating with stakeholders, managing equipment, planning logistics, developing plans, teaching and training equipment protocols, reporting appropriate information, writing situational reports and after-action reports, and following up with government stakeholders. Personnel must be capable of supporting surge deployments, intelligence-driven operations, National Special Security Events (NSSE), and steady-state detection missions. Travel, extended hours, 24/7 shift work, weekends, holidays, and recall during contingency operations may be required. The work for this position will be located at one of the following sites:
