What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to personnel, contractors, and visitors by following site-specific access control procedures, verifying identification, and directing individuals to the proper check-in location.
  • Control entry and exit at gates and/or guard points, including issuing and collecting badges, maintaining visitor and delivery logs, and helping to monitor restricted areas.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying site leadership and/or emergency services per post orders and documenting actions taken.
  • Support security-related operations in a manufacturing and industrial location by monitoring alarms and/or camera systems as assigned, reporting irregular activity, and escalating concerns through the proper channels.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including building entrances, parking areas, and perimeter lines, to look for maintenance hazards, unauthorized access attempts, and other reportable conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
