As an Access Control Officer at a Distribution Site, you will welcome visitors, manage badge access, monitor entry points, and conduct routine patrols to help identify and address security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and contractors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a Distribution Site.
• Control access at designated entry points by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, managing sign-in and sign-out logs, and directing guests to appropriate areas.
• Monitor alarms, cameras, and access control systems; report irregular activity and/or maintenance concerns according to site protocols.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting events and notifying site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of public areas, galleries, back-of-house spaces, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or prohibited activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
