As a Security Officer - Roving Patrol Unit in San Bernardino, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with staff and visitors, and respond to concerns with a customer service mindset. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors and staff at a government location by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation, assistance with access issues, and coordination with site contacts.
• Monitor entry points and restricted areas, verify identification and/or credentials as required by site policy, and assist with directing visitors to appropriate departments.
• Complete patrol logs and incident reports, communicate observations to site representatives and/or Allied Universal management, and support ongoing security-related operations as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
