As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at an educational campus location, you will conduct routine foot patrols, remain highly visible, and respond to incidents and requests for assistance. You will monitor assigned areas, document activity, and support a welcoming environment through strong communication and customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by following Allied Universal post orders, site-specific policies, and approved emergency response activities for an educational location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, residence halls, parking areas, and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and campus activity, verify credentials as required, and assist with visitor directions, escorts, and service requests per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and calls for assistance in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with campus administrators and/or local responders as needed.
• Document security-related incidents, patrol observations, and maintenance hazards in written reports and/or electronic systems, and communicate relevant information to oncoming shifts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
