Overview Hearing Aid Specialist Position Type: Full-Time, In-Office Location: Summerville, SC HearingLife is seeking a full-time Hearing Aid Specialist to join our in-office clinical team. This role is responsible for providing comprehensive hearing healthcare services while delivering an exceptional patient experience. Candidates must be licensed in accordance with state requirements. Compensation $60,000-65,000 + commission Benefits Paid time off and paid holidays Medical, dental, vision, and health savings account (HSA) 401(k) plan with employer match Tuition reimbursement and continuing education reimbursement Maternity leave Short-term and long-term disability coverage Company-paid life insurance Pet insurance Employee and family discounts on hearing aids and related products Dependent care flexible spending plan Responsibilities Provide high-quality follow-up and aftercare services to existing patients Support walk-in patients with hearing aid checks, cleanings, adjustments, and troubleshooting Perform routine hearing aid maintenance and minor repairs, including earmolds and accessories Assist patients with proper hearing aid use, care, and best practices Conduct device checks and basic technical evaluations to ensure optimal performance Collaborate closely with Audiologists and Hearing Instrument Specialists to support patient care plans Support Telehealth and Remote Care initiatives, including patient coaching and device education Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with company, state, and federal guidelines Ensure compliance with all professional licensing and continuing education requirements Contribute to a welcoming, patient-centered clinic environment All other duties as assigned Qualifications Active Hearing Instrument Specialist license, or eligibility to obtain licensure per state requirements HearingLife is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
