Hearing Aid Specialist

Position Type: Full-Time, In-Office Location: Summerville, SC

HearingLife is seeking a full-time Hearing Aid Specialist to join our in-office clinical team. This role is responsible for providing comprehensive hearing healthcare services while delivering an exceptional patient experience. Candidates must be licensed in accordance with state requirements.

Compensation

  • $60,000-65,000 + commission

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality follow-up and aftercare services to existing patients
  • Support walk-in patients with hearing aid checks, cleanings, adjustments, and troubleshooting
  • Perform routine hearing aid maintenance and minor repairs, including earmolds and accessories
  • Assist patients with proper hearing aid use, care, and best practices
  • Conduct device checks and basic technical evaluations to ensure optimal performance
  • Collaborate closely with Audiologists and Hearing Instrument Specialists to support patient care plans
  • Support Telehealth and Remote Care initiatives, including patient coaching and device education
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with company, state, and federal guidelines
  • Ensure compliance with all professional licensing and continuing education requirements
  • Contribute to a welcoming, patient-centered clinic environment
  • All other duties as assigned


Qualifications

  • Active Hearing Instrument Specialist license, or eligibility to obtain licensure per state requirements
