Now Hiring CMM Programmer Salary: $68,640-83,200/year (DOE) Location: Framingham, MA Shifts Available: 1st or 2nd Precision matters when you're building technology that operates beyond Earth's atmosphere. Advantage Technical is hiring on behalf of our client, a leader in applied research, hardware development, and specialty manufacturing in space propulsion, specializing in electric propulsion, power electronics, and material science. As a premier provider of advanced electric propulsion thrusters for military, government, and commercial satellites, they are seeking a skilled CMM Programmer to join their team in Framingham, MA. This full-time opportunity offers day shift or 2nd shift (3:00pm-11:00pm) options with competitive pay of $33-$40 per hour. As a CMM Programmer, you will operate and program Coordinate Measuring Machines to perform precise inspections on complex components and assemblies. You will work with Zeiss Contura 5-axis and Mitutoyo Crysta Plus M CMMs, ensuring all parts meet exact engineering drawings and GD&T specifications. Key Responsibilities: Program and operate CMM equipment for first-article, in-process, and final inspections Interpret blueprints, GD&T, and technical specifications Generate detailed inspection reports and quality documentation Partner with engineering and manufacturing teams to resolve quality concerns Maintain and calibrate precision measurement equipment Support continuous improvement initiatives Qualifications: Experience as a CMM Programmer using PC-DMIS or Calypso Strong knowledge of GD&T and quality inspection methods Experience with Zeiss Contura and Mitutoyo Crysta Plus M preferred Background in high-precision manufacturing environments Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills If you're ready to contribute to advanced space propulsion programs in a high-precision environment, apply now to join this innovative team.
