Security Officer - Overnight Commercial Monitor

As a Security Officer - Overnight Commercial Monitor in Tampa, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Allied Universal Security Officer at a commercial real estate condominium location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support residents, tenants, guests, and vendors with courteous service, clear communication, and prompt reporting using computer and/or tablet tools. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, residents, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Control access points by verifying credentials, issuing visitor passes when applicable, monitoring deliveries and vendor check-ins, and directing guests to appropriate areas.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting events, notifying site contacts and/or emergency services as needed, and following post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of common areas, retail corridors, lobbies, parking areas, loading docks, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or property damage.
• Monitor cameras, alarms, and building systems as assigned, report irregular conditions, and complete shift logs and incident reports per Allied Universal requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Having a guard card/license is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
