As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Ambassador in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer supporting a commercial real estate location. You will conduct routine foot and/or vehicle-area patrols, remain highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and respond to calls for service with professionalism. You will also support tenants, visitors, and property teams through clear communication, incident documentation, and a customer-first approach, living our values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions taken and notifying site contacts and/or public responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of building common areas, garages, stairwells, loading areas, and the exterior perimeter, observing for unusual activity and conditions that may help to discourage unauthorized access.
• Control access at designated entrances by verifying identification and/or credentials, issuing visitor access information as directed, and directing guests to appropriate areas while following site rules.
• Complete routine reports, shift logs, and incident documentation, and communicate observations and service needs to property management and/or Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
