Job Description




As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Driver in Saint Peters, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will complete routine foot and vehicle patrols, support access control, and help identify and report security-related concerns. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license meeting AU Driver Policy Requirements. You will stay visible, assist employees and visitors with directions and questions, and represent Allied Universal with integrity, teamwork, and a people-first approach.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as directed.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions per post orders.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout manufacturing and industrial buildings, production areas, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Control access at gates, docks, and/or designated entry points by checking identification, issuing visitor badges, managing vehicle and trailer logs, and directing deliveries to appropriate locations.
  • Complete detailed activity reports, incident reports, and logbook entries, and communicate status updates to site contacts and Allied Universal supervision as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
