Security Officer - Mobile Rounds Patrol

As a Security Officer - Mobile Rounds Patrol in Fremont, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced automotive location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site contacts, and deliver strong customer service while using a computer and/or tablet for reporting. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, parking lots, loading docks, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor, vendor, and employee access processes in accordance with site procedures, including checking credentials and directing traffic flow as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services per post orders.
• Complete security-related reports and documentation, including incident reports, patrol logs, and observations, and communicate timely updates to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
