What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to shoppers, tenants, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the retail property, including common areas, entrances, loading areas, and perimeter routes, to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical calls, disturbances, lost children reports, and/or suspicious behavior, and request additional assistance when needed.
• Monitor and document security-related activity using CCTV and/or other systems as assigned, complete routine reports, and promptly communicate concerns to site leadership and/or local responders.
• Support property operations by assisting with access control, after-hours checks of doors and gates, crowd and line management during peak periods, and coordination with tenant staff during special events.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Loss Prevention is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Pepper Spray Certification is preferred.
• Ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
