As an Allied Universal Officer in a retail and mall location, you will support access control by greeting associates and guests, checking credentials, managing entry points, and monitoring activity to help reduce security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible, and communicate clearly to support a positive customer experience. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Control entry and exit at designated access points, verify identification and/or credentials as required, and direct visitors, vendors, and deliveries to the appropriate check-in process.
• Monitor entrances, sales floor access points, and back-of-house areas for unusual activity; help to deter unauthorized access, theft-related activity, and/or policy violations by maintaining a visible presence.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with store leadership and/or law enforcement as appropriate.
• Complete required logs and reports such as visitor records, incident documentation, and shift activity summaries, and communicate status updates to on-site management and/or Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 1+ years of security experience.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
