ABOUT THE ROLE
The Senior Product Manager, Discovery & Engagement, will be responsible for shaping and delivering fresh, intelligent content experiences within FOX One. You will shape how audiences navigate FOX's Sports, News, and Entertainment offerings, interact with data-rich and editorial content, and deepen their engagement through short-form and emerging content formats.

You'll blend audience empathy with technical and strategic product leadership to deliver a best-in-class experience across browse surfaces, spanning merchandising and real-time engagement. We're looking for a product leader fluent in consumer-facing experiences, inspired by cross-industry innovation, and energized by improving how content is packaged, promoted, organized, and surfaced to audiences at the right moment.

Success in this role is defined by delivering an effortless, deeply engaging browse experience that makes FOX One the first destination audiences reach for all things live-across sports, news, and entertainment.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drive platform-wide features that enhance how audiences discover and enjoy content across both "lean-back" and "lean-in" viewing modes.
  • Lead the integration of AI and LLM-based tools to design and optimize user interfaces for browsing and discovery.
  • Drive experimentation and A/B testing to validate new merchandising and engagement capabilities across platforms.
  • Build innovative product experiences for major live events that enhance real-time engagement and help audiences quickly understand what is live, what matters now, and what to watch next.
  • Lead discovery and product definition efforts by crafting clear product briefs, driving cross-functional ideation, and partnering closely with design, engineering, data analytics, user research, and editorial teams to release each feature.
  • Define and track meaningful KPIs tied to merchandising effectiveness, content discovery, feature adoption, and retention-leveraging insights to inform and prioritize roadmap decisions.
  • Explore, test, and ship interactive content formats including second-screen experiences, dynamic live insights, and other emerging engagement models.
  • Collaborate on expanding editorial and data-driven storytelling formats that enrich content consumption, improve navigation, and guide audiences to relevant, timely experiences.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • Demonstrated expertise in building content-rich digital experiences at scale within a high-performing, direct-to-consumer business.
  • Proven experience improving browse or discovery experiences across consumer-facing products
  • Experience leading the integration of AI and LLM-based tools to drive deepened audience engagement and enable smarter content discovery.
  • A strong product generalist mindset, able to connect strategy to execution across multiple content verticals and platforms.
  • Experience defining and tracking engagement KPIs; confident working with A/B testing and data analytics to drive decision-making.
  • Ability to influence cross-functional partners and lead execution from concept to launch.
  • Demonstrated familiarity and interest in the future of streaming, media, and generative AI consumer products.
  • Up-to-date fluency in real-time engagement patterns, audience interactivity, emerging generative AI capabilities, and modern browse experiences.

NICE TO HAVE, BUT NOT A DEALBREAKER

  • Experience implementing or evaluating generative AI solutions for summarization, navigation, or content recommendations
  • Background in interactive live content - ie, gaming, second-screen experiences, and data-rich products.
  • Experience working with editorial or programming teams to deliver blended human + algorithmic discovery and merchandising experiences.
  • Experience optimizing homepage, browse, collection, or content hub strategies for a streaming, media, or subscription product.
  • A habit of drawing product inspiration from adjacent industries-such as gaming, fintech, social platforms, or e-commerce-to build new, differentiated experiences.
