In this role, you'll be a trusted thought partner and strategic advisor, helping shape the future of Azure AI through longterm revenue planning, business modeling, financial strategy, and crosscompany partnerships. This position sits at the intersection of finance, product, and business leadership. You'll work closely with senior leaders to deliver insights that drive datainformed decisions, establish a strong financial rhythm, and reflect the overall health and trajectory of the business. Through deep collaboration across the C+AI Finance organization and our business partners, you'll also help influence partnership strategy and unlock new growth opportunities. Responsibilities Priorities Leads theexecution of annual business planning,market/compete analyses,monthly close, and quarterly forecasting forAzureAI revenue, and deliversweekly revenue sizing and quarterly outlook insights tooursenior leadership team. Buildsscalable financial models and automated solutions to support decision-making acrossAzureAI partnerships. Deliversbusiness models and revenuemonetization frameworks. Highlightstradeoffs, assessesrisks and opportunities, and influencespricing and capacity planning decisionsin partnership withsales, engineering, andpartnerfinanceteams. Alignwithstakeholders onkey performance indicatorsand expected outcomes.Convertsbusiness insights into measurable impact, refinesAI business models, and supportslong-term revenue strategy forAzureAI. Protect Ensurescompliance with company policies, legal standards, and regulatory requirements by reviewing and monitoring accuracy of financial documents and business processes. Drives corrective measures. Consults with business partners on sharing financial information, approved instruments and processes, and consistency with corporate policies. Collaborates with Compliance groups to ensure team is current on company policies and procedures. Other Embody ourcultureandvalues Qualifications Required/Minimum Qualifications Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 2+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, OR related field OR Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 4+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field OR equivalent finance work experience. 8+ years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, revenue finance, or related roles Preferred Qualifications Cross group collaboration skills including the ability to comfortably communicate with executive management at Microsoft. Ability to effectively manage multiple inputs across many stakeholders, prioritizing the effort on main drivers. Ability to deal with ambiguity and uncertainty in a business that evolves ata very fastpace. Analytical and strategic thinker. Ability toidentifyopportunities forthe businessto andbuild and nurture relationships across finance and business partners to drive results and insights. Show propensity for learning, anddemonstrateabilitytoidentify, analyze, interpret, and deliver sound solutions. Executive level oral and written communication skills - ability to communicate complex analysis and models ina simple way. Financial Analysis IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $96,500 - $188,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $123,500 - $206,400 per year.
