Responsibilities:

Presbyterian is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our dedicated healthcare team, providing exceptional patient care through safe and accurate Nuclear Medicine procedures, isotope administration, and highquality diagnostic imaging. In this role, you will transport patients, prepare exam rooms, explain procedures, and perform a full range of Nuclear Medicine studies while determining appropriate isotopes and reviewing patient histories. You'll maintain and troubleshoot gamma cameras, perform routine quality control, schedule exams, and ensure compliance with departmental policies, safety standards, infection control, and quality assurance guidelines. Additional responsibilities include maintaining clean and organized work areas, monitoring supplies, utilizing hospital information systems, participating in ongoing professional development, taking call for Nuclear Medicine procedures, and mentoring student technologists. This position is eligible for the Northern New Mexico differential of $4.00 per hour. (This differential may be adjusted or discontinued based on business requirements.)

Qualifications:

  • ARRT (N) or NMTCB Certification within 6 months after graduation. Candidate who are selected for the position must sign an agreement to obtain this credential.
