(Please make sure your candidate is aware that the job is not done in 8 hours and they can clock out).OT - averaging 10 hours a weekEnvironment: Cold, 36 to 55 degreesSteel-toe shoes are required on day 1 of the assignmentDay-to-Day Job Duties: On their feet, lifting boxes anywhere from 5-50 lbs, placing them on pack stations where packers are working with the product.Equipment: None 0-3 Years of Experience. This position is responsible for material handling in compliance with all Good Manufacturing (GMP) and Warehousing Practices and housekeeping standards for assigned areas in the Production facility.RESPONSIBILITIES -Ensure that production orders and incoming shipments are properly received, labeled, loaded, unloaded, racked, and/or shipped. Inspect materials for visible defects or damage. Audit and ensure materials match inventory in computerized warehouse management systems. Report any discrepancies. Operate RF scanners to record all related materials handling transactions. Ensure that inventory shortages are reported on time and documented correctly to facilitate new orders in a timely manner. Prepare and maintain related forms (i.e., Receiving and Bill of Lading) accurately and legibly. Compile and remove all components and debris at the end of each production run. Return unused materials to stock for accurate inventory control. Communicate effectively with co-workers and department supervision. Follow & comply with GMPs related to the handling of materials and equipment.
