Director of Recruiting

The Director of Recruiting is a leadership role at Kansas State University Salina, shaping how learners discover, engage with, and ultimately choose the campus. This role leads innovative, data-informed recruitment strategies across undergraduate, graduate, and non-credit programs. The Director works closely with faculty, academic leadership, marketing, and university enrollment partners to align outreach, messaging, and learner experience with workforce demand and institutional priorities. Minimum Qualifications:

• Requires a bachelor's degree and five years of relevant experience in recruitment, sales, client management, or a related field
  
  
  
  • Education beyond the minimum degree requirement may count toward required experience if deemed relevant by the hiring manager.
    
    The degree requirement ensures candidates possess the strategic, financial, leadership and operational skills essential for directing complex academic student services functions. • Valid driver's license required upon hire and must be maintained.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Higher Education Administration or related field.
• Strong knowledge of best practices in recruitment, outreach, and learner engagement.
• Proven ability to innovate and adapt to changing student and institutional needs.
• Success as a collaborator with strong interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated experience integratingrecruitment relatedtechnologies into an active enrollment process.
• Familiarity with leading CRM software.
• Experience managing a budget.
