This position is ideal for skilled nursing professionals with strong medication administration experience who are comfortable working in fast-paced, structured, and high-acuity clinical environments. Candidates with prior experience in correctional healthcare, behavioral health, long-term care, detox, rehabilitation, or similar settings are highly preferred. The ideal candidate is dependable, clinically confident, detail-oriented, and capable of managing high patient volumes while maintaining professionalism, accuracy, and compassionate care.

Responsibilities
  • Administer medications accurately and efficiently in a high-volume clinical setting
  • Perform medication passes in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
  • Monitor patients for medication reactions, side effects, and changes in condition
  • Maintain accurate nursing documentation, MARs, and patient records
  • Assist with intake screenings, routine assessments, and chronic care monitoring
  • Respond appropriately to urgent medical situations and emergencies
  • Collaborate with physicians, RNs, mental health staff, and correctional personnel
  • Ensure compliance with infection-control procedures, safety standards, and security protocols
  • Provide professional, respectful, and patient-centered nursing care at all times

Shifts: Monday - Friday 3p-11p or 11p-7:30a (must be able to work rotating weekends; full time, weekends only or three days per week schedule available)
