Fleet Maintenance Analyst

Murphy-Hoffman Company, LLC is North America's largest Kenworth truck dealership group and leasing group. As MHC continues to grow, we have an opening for a Fleet Maintenance Analyst. The Fleet Maintenance Analyst is responsible for processing repair orders in the most effective means for MHC Truck Leasing and assigned branches. Maintains communication with branch Service Managers to solve processing problems. Analyzes repair costs and times for consistency with standards and ensures that expenses are accounted for appropriately.

• Coordinates the closing and posting process for repair orders with MHCTL Service Managers ensuring that all billable items are included on the repair order such as parts, sublet repairs/service, machine charges and shop supplies. Ensures proper stories are on the repair orders to justify warranty or customer bill backs. Ensures all needed documentation accompanies the repair order.
• Ensures that all purchase orders and payable invoices associated with repair orders are handled timely, repair orders are billed accurately, and documentation is scanned with the repair order.
• Analyzes all repair orders, purchase orders and unit expenses to ensure costs are billed to the appropriate accounts such as warranty, policy, customer bill back or maintenance. Works with Service Managers to verify the coding of expenses and that the applicable Vehicle Maintenance Reporting Standard (VMRS) codes haves been applied and stepped out accordingly per each repair.
• Analyzes repair invoices to verify appropriate standard repair times (SRT) were applied. Contacts local Service Manager if repair times need to be adjusted.
• Monitors RoadPulse purchase order requests for assigned branches and confirms accurate SRT's are being charged prior to closing. Ensures any possible warranty or policy has been applied by dealership.
• Creates new units in the leasing business system utilizing the appropriate documentation.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.

• Requires minimum 2 years of maintenance/repair experience in a truck fleet, truck leasing company or truck dealership.
• Must have good understanding of truck maintenance and repair procedures.
• Must have excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Requires excellent computer skills especially in Microsoft Office Products (i.e. Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Must be team oriented with a positive, can-do attitude.
