Role: Manager- US Treasury Clearing Project Duration: 12 months with possibility of extension Location: New York, NY 10017 - Hybrid- 2 to 3 days in the office, beginning with the need to be in the office 5 days a week for training Key objective:
* All repo trades must be cleared and netted through GSCC
* Program includes both cash trades and repo transactions * Implementation timeline: End of 2026 into early 2027 * Multi-phase rollout The team currently has a consultant leaving and is hiring a replacement for a hybrid project support and operations role.
Current Phase
* Development largely completed
* Currently in Functional Testing phase * Functional testing will run for approximately 5-6 weeks * Followed by 1 month of End-to-End (E2E) Testing * E2E testing will include Finance, Reconciliation, and downstream reporting teams They are entering test trades now and validating workflows before full downstream integration.
Role Overview
This is a hybrid role combining:
* Light Project Management oversight
* Settlement and Treasury operations knowledge * GSCC netting expertise * Coordination and reporting responsibilities There are dedicated project managers on the program. This role supports day-to-day execution and testing oversight and reports into Manager.
The person will:
* Stay on top of testing progress
* Review test cases and scenarios * Ensure all scenarios are covered * Identify potential settlement edge cases * Coordinate across operations teams * Provide updates to leadership * Represent operations in project meetings Testing Expectations
Q: How hands-on is the testing component?
Answer:
* A dedicated testing resource is running execution
* This role will not primarily execute test trades * They will review test case scenarios * They will validate completeness of coverage * May act as backup if required * Will provide oversight and quality checks Testing involvement increases during E2E phase when downstream systems are engaged.
GSCC Interaction
Q: How heavily does the role interact with GSCC processes?
Answer:
* Very heavily
* 60-70% of the role involves GSCC * Monitoring GSCC dashboards * Ensuring mapping and netting functionality works correctly * Validating trade flows into GSCC GSCC expertise is critical.
Broadridge Requirement
Q: If someone does not have Broadridge experience, can they still be considered?
Answer:
* Yes, but Broadridge is strongly preferred
* GSCC and Broadridge are industry standards for fixed income * Most US Treasury / fixed income professionals will have exposure * Would be unusual for someone with GSCC experience not to know Broadridge Python Clarification

This role requires someone who can act as the operational middle layer between project leadership and operational teams.
