Performs a variety of financial tasks to ensure accurate record keeping, reporting, and financial operations. Utilizes accounting principles to ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements, company policies, and contractual obligations. Provides accounting support to operations and gains understanding of accounting principles and standards.

Key Responsibilities



  • Maintains and updates financial records ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with accounting principles and standards.
  • Aids with the preparation and/or generation of various financial reports in support of daily operations, including reports on payment activities, contract compliance, financial trends, inventories, and/or cost data.
  • Enters information into relevant systems. Identifies potential errors and supports resolution.
  • Helps create manual invoices verifying accuracy and addressing discrepancies.
  • Assists with providing documentation and addressing routine inquires for audits.
  • Monitors and reports on expenses and/or production metrics.
  • Collaborates cross-functionally to support and enhance financial performance and reporting accuracy. Participates in process reviews to improve efficiency.
  • Communicates relevant data to suppliers, customers, and management.
  • Cultivates a positive relationship with internal and external partners.
  • Reviews data to calculate payment amounts, including bonuses or adjustments.
  • Prepares and processes financial transactions accurately and in compliance with established contracts and policies.
  • Serves as a point of contact for resolving inquiries and/or billing and payment discrepancies.
  • Completes reconciliation for accounts, statements, general ledger, data entry, etc


Minimum Qualifications (Educations & Experience)



  • Highschool diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • 1+ years of relevant experience

Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities



  • Some experience in office administration, accounting, and/or bookkeeping
  • Good written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detailed oriented with a high level of accuracy and precision
  • Solid critical thinking, researching, data review, and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively
  • Firm organizational, time-management, and multi-tasking skills with ability to effectively handle multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Ability to tackle issues, inquiries, and concerns promptly
  • Working knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards
  • Effective skills in Microsoft Suites (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, etc.) and accounting software (QuickBooks, M-Tech, SAP, or similar)


Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities



  • Associate or bachelor's degree in business, Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Previous experience working with SAP


Physical Demands



  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, keyboard, and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, color vision and the ability to adjust focus.


Working Conditions



  • Work will be performed in a variety of conditions including a climate-controlled office environment(s) and in a manufacturing plant environment with varying conditions, such as cold areas, wet areas, warm areas, chemicals, and other site conditions. This position requires the individual to wear and work in personal protective equipment while in the manufacturing environment.
