Are you ready to shape a brighter future?

In the Motion Systems Group and Hydraulic Actuator Division, we play a pivotal role in applications that change our world. We are in almost everything that moves. With our wide range of technologies, we help our customers solve their most complex engineering challenges by living our purpose: Enabling Engineering Breakthroughs that lead to a Better Tomorrow. We believe that our team members are our key assets and that a diverse workforce is a driving force to bring our purpose to life. We foster a culture where every team member feels safe, included, and empowered. We all belong, we all matter, and we all make a difference.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Support continuous improvement of hydraulic lab test stands through CAD-driven design updates, documentation, and hands-on validation
  • Translate lab and manufacturing needs into robust mechanical solutions by creating 3D models and 2D drawings
  • Support controlled change processes, and partnering with engineers and technicians to implement and verify hardware improvements that enhance safety, reliability, and serviceability
  • Gain hands-on experience in design, development, and implementation of new products that enhance productivity, efficiency, and product quality

Who we are looking for:

  • Currently pursuing a BS in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
  • Working knowledge of 3D CAD (SolidWorks, Creo, Inventor, or similar) and 2D drawing fundamentals.
  • Comfort working hands-on around mechanical equipment (wrenches-and-notebooks environment).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • High level of organizational skills and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Strong computer skills (MS Office) with an ability to learn new systems and tools.

Preferred:

  • Exposure to hydraulics (pressure, flow, fittings, valves).

  • Experience with test equipment (pressure transducers, load cells, DAQ basics) or basic instrumentation.

  • Familiarity with tolerance/fit concepts, GD&T basics, and drawing best practices.

  • Comfortable reading hydraulic schematics and mechanical assembly drawings.
