Production Assembler 3 - Electronics

Position Summary/Essential Functions:

On a production basis, performs heavy electronic and electromechanical subassembly and assembly work. High variable type of job. Left to make more difficult decisions based on general procedures. Works under minimum supervision. Responsible for outcome of projects and tasks assigned.

Responsibilities:

Advanced understanding of ESD controls, epoxy mixing, bonding, painting, and assembly techniques.

* Masking, de-masking, advanced heat shrink, wire winding, advanced lacing cord, humiseal (dunk/spray), spray paint, epoxy, bonding, labeling/ink marking.
* Advanced Harness Cables, Advanced PCB assembly, Advanced Heat Shrinking, Lacing Cord. Ability to train others in these specific tasks.
* More specific assembly tasks.

Qualifications:

This role requires access to export controlled technical data. Consistent with 22 C.F.R. *120.15, candidates must be 'U.S. Persons' (e.g., U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident).

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED), and 6+ years related experience and/or training. J-STD-001 Certification preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organizations. Ability to communicate in English.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • Must be able to operate solder irons, cutters, wire strippers, crimpers and heat guns.

  • Pay Range: $21.2/hr to $35.35/hr

Pay, Benefits, Work Schedule

Please note that the salary range information is only applicable for California, New York, Washington. Compensation is based on a variety of factors, candidate experience, qualifications, location as well as market and business considerations.

The wage range for this role considers allowances for a number of factors, including but not limited to required experience, skill level, prior training, licensure/certifications, education, and other business needs.
