Position Summary SUMMARY OF POSITION: The purpose of the Lead is to assist the Value Stream Team Leaders and/or Managers with the daily activities of their shift. They will help assure that their shift is functioning at the highest levels possible and help communicate the daily, weekly, and monthly requirements and expectations of the production Value Streams. The Leader will be involved in most of the aspects of running the operations of the shift they are assigned. They will be involved with safety, communications, training, and development, lean, (HPT) high performance teams, tracking and audits, continuous improvement efforts and scheduling the flow of products through the area. They will provide valuable feedback to Supervisors and Managers regarding performance of the work stream and the progress of employees within the VS. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1.
