The Opportunity

The Document Cloud Mobile team invites a Software Quality Engineer to help guarantee the excellent quality of our Acrobat Reader for PDF application on iOS. This role entails close cooperation with QE, design, product and engineering teams to deliver outstanding mobile experiences worldwide. What You'll Do
  • Develop thorough manual and automated test cases, including ad-hoc, exploratory, and accessibility testing to maintain rigorous quality standards.
  • Take ownership of feature quality by accomplishing tests, assessing risks, and communicating results effectively to certify features with a high-quality bar.
  • Proactively identify areas for improvement or concern and work collaboratively with the engineering team to address them.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering and QA teams to define and refine testing strategies, establish robust test processes, and coordinate release validation activities.
What You Need to Succeed
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in software quality assurance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience in practice.
  • Solid expertise in iOS mobile testing, covering in-app purchases, subscription-based applications, and accessibility testing to guarantee inclusive app experiences.
  • Proven experience in developing test strategies, documentation, and automated UI/functional tests.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive manual test plans, including exploratory, regression, localization, and accessibility testing, with a focus on delivering high-quality iOS experiences.
  • Outstanding skills in bug detection, regression testing, and defect tracking.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills with a curiosity about solving ambiguous problems.
  • Ability to prioritize effectively and consistently deliver on commitments.
  • Experience with Swift (XCUITest Framework), Objective-C, or other relevant programming languages for iOS automation is a plus.
  • Previous experience leading QA processes for large and complex applications is a plus.

Expected Pay Range:

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $113,400 -- $221,750 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.
In California, the pay range for this position is $153,200 - $221,750

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
