This position is incredibly fast faced with high incoming call volumes. The Medical Assistant position is a fully remote position that is staffing our dedication prescription refill line and answering questions from current patients or addressing concerns raised by current patients regarding their medications. The MA also supports with scheduling/rescheduling and directing patients to the right care, at the right time. The MA supports all the clinics in addition to administrative support for the access team- entering faxed referrals into our system and answering questions regarding the services we offer at MHBH. (2 MA's staff this this and offer support on the main scheduling line). Preferred candidate has a strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and ideally proficient in EPIC. Ideal candidate will reside in Maine or NH as there will be required on-site training (up to 1 month) and meetings. The hours are Monday-Friday 8-5pm. Summary: The Medical Assistant (MA) role is assigned duties and responsibilities related to patient care and administrative support in a team-based environment while promoting a smooth flow of patients through the office. The Medical Assistant MA role functions under the license of the physician/advanced practice practitioner when performing clinical and other patient care responsibilities.
