HPLC Chemist

Overview

Seeking a scientist to support our client's lab testing needs with 1+ year of HPLC experience

Compensation: $22.00 -25.00 per hour

What You'll Do:

  • Organizes and conducts analyses independently and in compliance with applicable methods, protocols, SOPs, and regulatory guidelines
  • Documents work and maintains study documents and laboratory records
  • Independently use and perform basic troubleshooting of laboratory equipment and software for assigned tasks.
  • Provides input and participates in project meetings
  • Performs assigned workload on a daily basis and effectively completes multiple assignments.
  • Contributes to a cohesive team environment and maintains positive attitude. Plans individual workload in coordination with team members.
  • Maintains a safe and clean laboratory environment.
  • Understands data generated, and history of methods.
  • Recognizes deviations from normal results and inform project lead and/or management of any problems and/or deviations that may affect the integrity of the data and participates in corrective action of problems.
  • Identifies problems, determines appropriate actions, and implements solutions with support or independently as appropriate.
  • Adapts to new procedures and needs as directed
  • Knowledge of departmental procedures and policies
  • Viewed as a resource within their team
  • Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner
  • Performs other duties as assigned

What You'll Bring:

  • BS degree in Biology, Chemistry, or a related science field with
  • 1+ year of HPLC experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Lab documentation experience
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Flexibility and excellent time management skills
  • Experience with test method development, Preferred
  • Experience in highly regulated environments (cGMP or cGLP), Preferred
