The Part-Time Pharmacist will provide essential medication management and clinical support, ensuring safe and effective pharmacy services in collaboration with the care team. This role offers the opportunity to apply clinical judgment, support patient therapy plans, and contribute to smooth pharmacy operations in a collaborative, team oriented environment.

OSS Health in York, PA is a physician owned, state of the art orthopaedic health system offering comprehensive services including joint replacement, spine care, sports medicine, pain management, podiatry, and urgent care. Its dedicated Orthopaedic Hospital provides high quality, patient centered surgical and rehabilitative care, supported by advanced technologies and consistently strong patient satisfaction ratings.

Pharmacy Location: OSS Health in York, PA
Schedule: This role will be scheduled every other Saturday from 6:00 AM-6:00 PM.
Monday-Friday coverage may also be available as needed between 5:30 AM-6:00 PM.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Optimize medication therapy by reviewing regimens, identifying drug related problems, and adjusting doses based on clinical data
  • Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and serve as a medication information resource for the healthcare team
  • Provide patient focused services, including counseling, education, and medication reconciliation during transitions of care
  • Ensure safe and accurate order entry, dispensing, and verification of medications while overseeing pharmacy technicians
  • Monitor therapeutic outcomes and support antimicrobial stewardship and medication safety initiatives
  • Maintain compliance with hospital policies and state/federal regulations
  • Perform sterile compounding and IV preparation as needed

Required Qualifications:

  • ACPE-accredited pharmacy degree
  • Active Pennsylvania pharmacist license in good standing
  • Hospital pharmacy experience (any level)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PharmD
  • 3+ years of hospital pharmacy experience

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $44.09 to $78.70 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
