CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking an Engineer II to join our Water Team in Loogootee, IN and contribute to the planning, design, and delivery of water/wastewater projects that support resilient, sustainable communities. What You'll Do:

    Participate in the development of preliminary design concepts and perform comparative cost analyses for water/wastewater systems
  • Assist in creating computation methods, technical reports, and specifications under the guidance of senior engineers
  • Identify and correct technical discrepancies in analytical results, following established procedures
  • Develop familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as firm and client standards
  • Join field assignments with senior staff to gain hands-on experience in assessment, planning, and rehabilitation of water/wastewater systems


What You Bring:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering required
  • Minimum of 2 years of related engineering experience required
  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification required
  • Strong theoretical knowledge and willingness to learn within the engineering discipline
  • Familiarity with QA/QC procedures and engineering software (Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.) and proficiency with Microsoft Office required
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
  • Participation in professional engineering societies/organizations preferred

Salary Range:

$78,000 - $85,000

Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
