The Human Resources Associate supports the HR initiatives of one or more functional areas within the scope of human resources department. In addition, the incumbent provides broad administrative support to other HR team members.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The successful incumbent will perform the following duties, with or without reasonable accommodations:

  • Support HR initiatives within the department, such as recruitment, HR engagement and campus events
  • Collaborate with supervisor, Human Resources Business Partners (HRBPs) and other team members to develop and implement project plans, including scope and resources needed; prepare regular and ad hoc progress updates.
  • Support recruitment activities including, but not limited to, creating and reviewing staffing requisitions in the applicant tracking system (ATS), screening applications, coordinating and scheduling interviews with hiring decision makers, and presenting employment offers.
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality when dealing with sensitive matters.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or requested.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum three years' experience in a similar administrative support role, preferably in a human resources department.
  • High level of computer proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, presentations, email, and virtual meeting applications, preferably on the Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 platforms.
  • Prior knowledge of ATS Systems, such as Workday, preferred.
  • High level of customer service.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication skills, including verbal, written, and interpersonal.
  • Strong collaboration skills.

EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or GED required; Associates or Bachelor's Degree human resources, business administration, liberal arts, or similar discipline, preferred.

Starting Salary:$50,000 annually

The referenced salary range is based on PCOM good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.
