Job Highlights
The Reliability Technician supports safe and efficient plant operations by troubleshooting, maintaining, and improving the reliability of processing equipment and instrumentation systems. This role provides technical expertise in electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation systems within a chemical manufacturing environment. Essential functions include:
Troubleshoot and maintain plant processing equipment; identify root causes and implement reliability improvements. Install, test, repair, and maintain instrumentation, electrical, and control systems. Install and commission new equipment; maintain and upgrade existing systems. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams. Inspect, test, and repair electrical wiring, conduits, feeders, fiber-optic and coaxial cable assemblies, and related components. Test instrumentation and electrical components for continuity, voltage, current, and resistance. Support and execute preventive maintenance programs; maintain accurate maintenance records. Provide training and guidance on reliability-based practices. Work independently or collaboratively in a team environment while maintaining a strong focus on safety and environmental compliance.
Experience / Skills
Strong troubleshooting and critical-thinking skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve equipment failures. Experience with instrumentation and rotating equipment (pumps, mixers, compressors, fans) in a chemical or industrial setting. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics. Proficiency with MS Office and general computer systems (Windows environment). Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision. Strong work ethic, integrity, and ability to perform effectively under pressure. Demonstrated commitment to safety and environmental stewardship. - Must be able to perform the physical aspects of the job including, but not limited to: lifting up to 55 pounds, climbing ladders, bending, stooping, twisting, operating equipment and working outside in conditions that are subject to the elements.

- Compensation: We offer competitive compensation packages, inclusive of a global bonus program. This position is part of a collective bargaining agreement and the starting pay is $54.03 per hour.
