About the Role

We are seeking a Training Specialist to join our team at our Van Nuys, CA bakery. As a Training Specialist, you will be accountable for delivering handson training experiences that build critical skills in food safety, equipment operation, quality standards, and team effectiveness. This role ensures employees gain the knowledge and capabilities needed to succeed and safely grow within the bakery.

• Hourly Rate: $25 - $28

Core Accountabilities (What You'll Be Doing)

• Deliver engaging and effective training that builds job skills, foodsafety knowledge, and operational capability
• Assess training needs, evaluate employee strengths, and identify skill gaps to guide training plans
• Maintain and update training materials, classroom content, digital tools, and training trackers
• Coordinate training schedules and support structured onboarding for new hires
• Evaluate training effectiveness and ensure learned skills transfer to onthejob performance
• Collaborate with supervisors and stakeholders to align training with operational needs
• Stay current on learning trends, tools, and best practices to enhance training programs

Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table)

• Associate degree and 4 years of manufacturing/operations experience, or GED with 3 years of experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in standing, walking, and coldenvironment conditions
• Ability to independently manage workload, prioritize tasks, and resolve challenges

Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success)

• Bilingual English/Spanish
• Experience training groups of 100+ employees
• Knowledge of learningmanagement systems (LMS)
• Strong facilitation and presentation skills
• Ability to build crossfunctional buyin and influence without authority
