As a Senior Logistics Engineer, you will play a vital role in the areas of equipment lifecycle and logistics support. You will work collaboratively with a team to support investigations into equipment lifecycles, including the identification and timeline for replacement of critical end-of-life parts, and the planning of upgrades to pre-emptively replace parts before equipment obsolescence or failure.

Roles/Responsibilities:

  • Candidate will support analytical reporting and performance monitoring of 1,600+ regulated, safety-critical systems, improving field reporting data accuracy by standardizing reporting logic and transforming raw operational data into decision-ready metrics for technical and business stakeholders.

  • Candidate will support defining reporting requirements, validation criteria, and workflow documentation to support accurate analytics, data integrity, and stakeholder visibility across cross-functional teams.

  • Candidate will support the development and management of project documentation pertaining to the extension of equipment lifecycles, to include project scope, schedule, and budget.

  • Candidate will produce executive-level summaries, decision briefs, and KPI reporting dashboards, translating complex operational or technical insights to strengthen stakeholder alignment and prioritization.

  • Position includes a telework or fully remote option; however, preference will be given to local (Springfield, VA) candidates.

  • Other project needs as determined.

Required Skills and Education:

  • Bachelor's degree is required in a STEM related discipline.

  • Minimum of eight years of relevant experience.

  • Minimum of three years of experience with Transportation Security Administration (TSA) Checked Baggage Technologies

  • Experience in business analysis.

  • Experience in strategy and operational analysis.

  • Experience in project or program operations analysis.

  • Candidate must have knowledge, expertise and experience tied to End of Life considerations, planning, and processes.


Security Clearance:

  • Be able to pass DHS suitability screening or DHS financial responsibility standards.

  • Have or be eligible to receive a Secret security clearance. Existing Secret Clearance is a plus.
