We are currently hiring a FT People and Culture Specialist II in Milton, DE. The People & Culture Specialist plays a key role in supporting and owning core processes and programs led by the HR Business Partner (HRBP) Team, and in collaboration with other People & Culture (P&C) teams. The P&C Specialist will actively engage with coworkers at all levels, provide frontline P&C support, and partner closely with leaders to ensure our coworkers' experience not only reflects our culture but also enables and supports core business objectives. This role helps strengthen connection, collaboration, and performance across the company by aligning peoplefocused programs with operational and strategic needs. What You'll Brew:
- Serve as the primary site point of contact for all P&C related coworker and manager inquiries, including responding to questions, interpreting and communicating policies, and escalating the resolution of coworker relations issues as needed
- Process requests for the HR Business Partner team related to coworker and business activity, including but not limited to HOPS Transactions, internal promotion and transfer letters, Talent Acquisition requisitions, and Leave of Absence requests
- Support HR Business Partners in executing key coworker life cycle activities including but not limited to, employee relations support, exits, and related processes
- Collaborate cross functionally with other teams within P&C to support process improvement initiatives
- Conduct data analysis to support P&C decision-making and reporting
- Own and support additional P&C projects and initiatives as needed
What Ingredients You'll Bring: Minimum Qualifications:
- 4-year degree + 2 years of professional experience in a human resources ("HR") environment or 3+ years of professional experience in an HR environment
- Working knowledge of core human resources processes, including onboarding, offboarding, and coworker lifecycle activities
- Familiarity with employee relations support, including policy interpretation, issue intake, and escalation protocol
- Experience serving as the point of contact for site leadership on P&C matters, including providing day to day guidance and appropriately triaging and escalating issues
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Familiarity with accommodations and leaves of absence, including FMLA, ADA, and related state programs
- High level of discretion and demonstrated ability to manage sensitive and confidential information
- Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with coworkers at all levels
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional experience in a human resources department within food, beverage, retail, or other consumer-branded/manufacturing environments
- Professional experience supporting HR Business Partners in a fast-paced organization
- Exposure to data analysis, reporting, or dashboard creation to support HR related decision making
- Experience drafting employment related communications, letters, or documentation
- Working knowledge of employment laws and compliance requirements relevant to human resources practices.
Office-Specific expectations:
- Standard office environment which includes desk, conference rooms, break rooms, etc.
- Potential to be in an environment that is complex that necessitates high situational awareness
- Occasional travel may be required and is at the discretion of your manager based on the needs of your position
- May be required, on occasion, to lift and/or move objects up to 50lbs
- Ability to sit in front of a computer, tablet, etc. for an extended period of time
- Bending, twisting, and reaching
- Willingness to wear PPE
Level: 71C At the Boston Beer Company and in accordance with pay transparency laws, we are open about our salary ranges. For this role, the salary range is between $25/hr and $49.04/hr. However, it's important to note that where the person hired starts in this range is dependent on their related experience, skillset and location. Additionally, this position qualifies for a discretionary annual bonus based on company and individual performance, and certain sales roles might include a car allowance.
