This role will support Herzing University's Midwest campuses:





Akron, OH Brookfield, WI Kenosha, WI
Madison, WI Minneapolis, MN

Schedule is a 40 hour work week, Monday through Friday during regular business hours. Occasional night and weekend hours may be needed based on various business needs, external community events, etc. Up to 20% travel required based on University or Region needs.

REQUIREMENTS:



  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field required. A master's degree in higher education administration or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years, preferably at least 10 years, of progressive experience in higher education admissions, with at least 3 years in a leadership role overseeing multi-campus or regional operations.

  • Leadership and Accountability: Proven ability to lead and inspire teams, manage performance, and create a culture of accountability. Experience in managing Directors of Admissions or equivalent leadership roles, ensuring consistent achievement of enrollment goal.
  • Strategic Thinking: Demonstrated success in developing and executing strategic enrollment initiatives, with a focus on data-driven decision-making and operational efficiency.
  • Collaboration: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Analytical Skills: Advanced proficiency in analyzing data and metrics to drive strategic decisions and optimize recruitment efforts.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Professionalism: Strong ethical standards and integrity, with the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially and professionally.


COMPENSATION is determined based on the qualifications, experience, and circumstances of each hire. It is uncommon for new employees to start near the top of the salary range. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including a tuition waiver and reimbursement program, health insurance, paid time off, and a retirement savings plan. The salary range for this role is $98,000 to $132,000.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement comprehensive enrollment strategies to support the institution's goals and objectives at a regional level.
  • Team Management and Accountability: Lead, manage, and hold the regional Directors of Admissions accountable for achieving their enrollment goals, maintaining high operational standards, and ensuring adherence to institutional policies and procedures. Provide regular performance evaluations and professional development opportunities to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Collaboration and Partnerships: Work in close collaboration with system-level leadership and campus directors to ensure alignment on strategic enrollment initiatives.
  • Enrollment Completion Oversight: Manage and oversee the completion of enrollment processes across the region, ensuring a seamless experience for prospective students from inquiry to matriculation.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Analyze and interpret enrollment data, market trends, and demographic shifts to inform strategic decisions and enrollment tactics. Regularly review regional Director performance metrics and provide guidance to meet benchmarks.
  • Event and Engagement Strategy: Oversee the execution of regional admissions events and community engagement strategies that support recruitment goals and elevate brand awareness.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including community leaders, high school counselors, and business partners to drive recruitment and foster community connections.
  • Leadership Development: Mentor and develop the regional admissions team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence in student recruitment efforts. Ensure that regional Directors are equipped with the necessary tools, support, and resources to be successful in their roles.
  • Reporting and Accountability: Provide regular reports on regional enrollment metrics, trends, and strategic initiatives to senior leadership. Ensure regional Directors are meeting benchmarks and enrollment targets through structured accountability measures.
  • Strategic Initiative Development: Collaborate with the Vice President of Admissions and other leaders to identify, plan, and implement strategic initiatives aimed at improving the overall admissions process and student experience.
  • Professional Development: Stay informed about industry best practices, trends, and innovations in enrollment management to ensure the region is operating at the forefront of higher education admissions.

Physical Requirements:



  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position half of the time.
  • Must be able to occasionally move around the work location.
  • Up to 20% travel required based upon the needs of the University.
  • Constantly operates office and/or teach equipment which may include computers, copiers, fax machines, audio/visuals.
  • Frequently uses voice and hearing to communicate with students, staff or colleagues face-to-face or over the telephone.
  • Visually or otherwise identify, observe and assess.
  • Occasionally move, carry, or lift 10 pounds.
