Commercial Alarm Technician - Oklahoma Job Category: Alarm / Security System Technician About the Role We are seeking a skilled Commercial Alarm Technician to join our growing team. This position focuses on installing, programming, maintaining, and troubleshooting a wide range of commercial security alarm systems across Oklahoma, with a concentration in NE Oklahoma. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with commercial alarm technology and holds an active Oklahoma license in access control or CCTV. Top Required Skills * Alarm installation experience * Commercial fire alarm experience * CCTV systems * Alarm system software knowledge * IP camera installation & networking * Access control systems Key Responsibilities * Install, program, and test commercial security alarm systems, including access control and CCTV * Perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs on existing alarm systems * Interpret and follow blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals * Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulations * Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used * Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and internal teams * Provide on-call and emergency service support when needed Qualifications * Active Oklahoma commercial access control or CCTV license (required) * Proven experience in commercial alarm system installation and service * Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities * Ability to work independently and in commercial field environments Work Environment Technicians will work on a variety of commercial job sites, including: * Schools * Clinics * Office buildings * Other commercial facilities Travel within Oklahoma is required depending on project locations.
